The Autism Diagnostic Clinic provides a comprehensive team evaluation by experienced professionals to determine the presence of an Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disorder. Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region and Rachel Loftin, Ph.D of Rush University Medical Center have partnered on this project to assemble an exceptional team comprised of a social worker, occupational therapist, speech-language therapist and a psychologist.

This inclusive clinic will assist families in determining their child's specific needs related to their diagnosis. Families will leave the clinic with a diagnosis and initial treatment guidelines that will best meet the needs of their child.

The team will use a variety of assessments to determine the needs of your child. Areas that will be assessed include:

  • Sensory Processing
  • Expressive and Receptive Communication
  • Social Communication
  • Play Skills
  • Cognitive Abilities
  • Motor Performance
